This Privacy Policy explains how BuildFigure (buildfigure.com) handles information when you use our free construction material calculators. We’ve tried to keep it in plain English. The short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser, and BuildFigure itself does not collect personal information about you.
The calculators collect no personal data
Every BuildFigure calculator runs client-side — that is, entirely on your own device. The measurements and options you type in (dimensions, quantities, unit choices, and so on) are used only to compute your estimate in your browser. Those inputs are never sent to, stored on, or seen by our servers. If you create a shareable estimate link, your inputs are encoded in the URL itself so you can copy and share it; we do not receive a copy.
Cookies and similar technologies
BuildFigure does not use cookies to track you for our own purposes. However, third-party services we rely on to keep the site free — advertising and analytics — may set cookies or read device identifiers as described below. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
- We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising vendor, to display ads on this site.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. IP anonymization is enabled, and analytics only loads when the site is configured with an analytics ID. This helps us see general trends (such as which calculators are popular) without identifying individual visitors.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links to retail partners, including the Amazon Associates Program and other retailers. When you click one of these links, the retailer may set cookies to attribute a qualifying purchase to BuildFigure. This is how we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Because BuildFigure does not collect personal data itself, most requests about your data relate to the third-party ad and analytics services above, which you can control directly:
- EEA / UK visitors (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Google may serve personalized ads, which you can control through the opt-out links above.
- California visitors (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. BuildFigure does not sell your personal information. You can limit ad personalization using the opt-out links above.

BuildFigure is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
